Susan Baer grew up in Hanover, Pennsylvania. She completed her B.S.B.A. in Economics at Shippensburg University and earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Government and Politics at University of Maryland, College Park. Susan has lived in various places throughout the United States including Maryland, Indiana, Wisconsin, and California, before returning to Pennsylvania. Most of Susan’s professional career has been spent in higher education where she was previously employed as a tenured Associate Professor of Public Administration in California and is currently a Contributing Faculty Member in the School of Public Policy and Administration at Walden University. She has published a number of public policy articles in peer-reviewed journals. In her free time, Susan enjoys going hiking with her husband, writing, and travel.
